Crew stadium to be renamed in 2026 season
Columbus Crew takes on New England Revolution during the first half in their first MLS game at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio on July 3, 2021. The Columbus Crew's home stadium will have a new name beginning in 2026, now that the club has entered a multiyear naming-rights agreement with a national lawn and garden products company.
The venue, known as Lower.com Field since mid-2021, will be called ScottsMiracle-Gro Field.
The Crew and Lower.com, an online mortgage company, last week announced they had mutually ended their naming-rights deal.
The ScottsMiracle-Gro Co. is based in Marysville, Ohio, located about 40 miles from Columbus.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed. The team and the company have had a working relationship for years, teaming on everything from the supplies to maintain the playing surface to community endeavors.
"The Columbus Crew are proud to call ScottsMiracle-Gro Field our home beginning in 2026. Strengthened by our long-term partnership and local connection, ScottsMiracle-Gro and the Crew share a deep passion for our fans, our sport and Central Ohio that perfectly reflects how we strive to represent our Club and our city through the global game," said Mary Shepro, the team's president of business operations, in a news release.
