Two anonymous Flames fans provide your nebulous outrage of the day, with their full-on, bone-through-the-nose blackface getup at last night's Hockey Night In Canada game. We'll cut them a bit of a break, as it was Halloween, and they are Canadian. But HNIC host Ron MacLean got off the best line, as the camera panned to these guys during a scoreless game: "At least the costumes are offensive."

Today is only the second time in history that all four major American sports are being played on the same day, so we should have no shortage of stories. But we'll see how it goes; I'm a little wrecked from last night. I really need to learn my limit when it comes to candy corn.
