Mandatory Credit: James Carey Lauder-Imagn Images Troy Terry scored his second goal of the game with 1:26 left in overtime to lift the visiting Anaheim Ducks to a 4-3 win over the Winnipeg Jets, who opened an eight-game homestand on Thursday evening.
Terry also had an assist, Radko Gudas had a goal and an assist, Leo Carlsson also scored and John Gibson made 27 saves and picked up an assist on the game-winner for the Ducks, who matched a season high with their third straight win.
Alex Iafallo had a goal and an assist, Mark Scheifele and Adam Lowry also scored, Josh Morrissey had two assists and Connor Hellebuyck made 20 saves for the Jets, who have lost two in a row (0-1-1).
Hellebuyck had won his previous six starts and was 9-0-1 in his past 10.
Iafallo gave Winnipeg a 3-2 lead when he scored on a wraparound with 2:44 left in regulation, but Gudas scored his first goal of the season with a slap shot with Gibson pulled for the extra skater to forge a 3-3 tie with 1:50 remaining.
Winnipeg, which blew a one-goal lead with five minutes left in a 3-2 loss in Anaheim on Dec. 18, scored 33 seconds into Thursday's game to take a 1-0 lead.
Gabriel Vilardi stole the puck from Gudas in the corner and chipped it to Kyle Connor in the slot. He fed Scheifele, who scored into the open side of the net.
Lowry became the sixth Jets player to reach double digits in goals this season when he scored off a feed from Iafallo on a two-on-one break to stretch the lead to 2-0 at 17:17 of the first.
The Ducks cut it to 2-1 at 18:58 of the first. Gudas took a shot from the right point that Carlsson tipped off the right post. The puck then hit the backside of Hellebuyck and ricocheted over the goal line.
Terry tied it 2-2 at 6:52 of the second on a one-timer from the right circle that squeezed through the pads of Hellebuyck for his team-leading 12th goal of the season.
