Eagles Fans Took Over L.A.
The announced attendance for the Eagles-Chargers game in Carson, California yesterday was 25,374. It seemed like most of those in attendance were not there for the home team.
Though the game took place in a suburb of Los Angeles, from the TV broadcast it sounded like the Eagles were at home. Fans cheered when the Chargers turned the ball over. They cheered when the Eagles scored. And they cheered for the Eagles when the game was over.
I made a compilation clip of all the cheering for the Eagles yesterday. But note that this is not the first time this has happened to the Chargers. Last year, when the team was still still in San Diego, Philip Rivers had to use a silent count in his own stadium because Steelers fans had taken over.
