Emily Clark potted the winning goal 2:47 into overtime and the host Ottawa Charge won Game 1 of the PWHL Finals 2-1 over the Minnesota Frost on Tuesday.

Clark picked up a free puck just inside Ottawa's defensive zone and carried it up the ice with no defender nearby. As a Minnesota player closed in, Clark shot it to the far post and lit the lamp, prompting a major celebration for her teammates and the home fans.

The Charge are now two wins away from claiming the championship. The best-of-five series continues Thursday in Ottawa before the teams head to St. Paul, Minn., for Game 3 on Saturday.

Rebecca Leslie scored the Charge's other goal, with assists from Tereza Vanisova and Jocelyne Larocque. Gwyneth Philips made 25 saves for Ottawa.

Klara Hymlarova pulled the Frost even 5:24 into the game off a centering pass from Katy Knoll. Nicole Hensley saved 17 shots for Minnesota.
