The Cardinals Lost Their Fourth Game
The St. Louis Cardinals’ four-game winning streak ended Wednesday as they lost to the Milwaukee Brewers, 6-4.
Brewers outfielder Domingo Santana socked a go-ahead two-run homer off Cardinals closer Trevor Rosenthal in the ninth inning. Right-hander Jeremy Jeffress got the last three outs of the game and earned his fourth save of the season.
The Cardinals are 4-4, and currently in fourth place in the NL Central. There’s always the next game!
