Rachel Nichols led off The Jump this evening with a tremendous monologue on the questions posed by Sports Illustrated about the Dallas Mavericks. Nichols, who writes these monologues herself, went in on Mark Cuban for his baffling insistence that he didn’t know anything about serial harassment accusations against former president and CEO Terdema Ussery, making the very good point that Cuban sounds like he’s full of shit since he’s the most notoriously hands-on owner in the league. “This game is too good, this sport is too good, this league is too good, to let something this bad continue,” she said.
