Evander Kane Hospitalized After Violently Slamming Into Boards

Sabres winger Evander Kane left this evening’s game against the Canadiens after he fell onto his back then smashed into the boards while chasing after a dumped puck.

Kane rolled around on in pain for a bit before he was carried off the ice, then stretchered away. The Sabres announced that he’d been taken to the hospital for further evaluation.
