Finance As Taught By Spike TV
This image was lost some time after publication. One considers that there might be dumber ways to pick an agent (like, say, just grabbing some dudes you went to high school with). Detroit Lions second-round pick Shaun Cody picked his agent on reality television. Airing in July on SpikeTV and hosted by Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, the series "SuperAgent" follows Cody's search for the right agent to represent him. One wonders what kind of elimination challenges there might be. The first rounds would be simple stuff, like negotiating endorsement deals, but by the end, it would be covering up pregnancies and scraping groupies off the front door of the hotel room.
