Florida's 7-foot-9 Olivier Rioux entering transfer portal

The Canadian center redshirted for the Gators during their 2024-25 national championship season and played in just 11 games in 2025-26.
"After taking time to reflect on my journey and what's best for my future, I've decided to enter the transfer portal," he posted Tuesday on X.

Rioux thanked Florida head coach Todd Golden and associate head coach Carlin Hartman along with his teammates, fans, trainers, managers and support staff.
"Thank you for believing in me, for trusting me, and for pushing me to develop every single day," he wrote. "Your leadership and guidance have shaped me not only as a player, but as a man."
Rioux finished his Florida career with seven points, six rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes. He had a dunk in the Gators' first-round NCAA Tournament win against Prairie View A&M on March 20.
