FlyQuest alone atop standings through 2 weeks of North 2025 Split 2
FlyQuest are the last unbeaten team at 4-0 through Sunday in the LTA North 2025 Split 2 positioning phase of the League of Legends tournament in Los Angeles.
Team Liquid (3-1), Cloud9 (3-1) and 100 Thieves (2-2) also were winners as the second of three weeks of positioning play concluded.
Eight teams are competing over three weeks (April 5-21) of positioning play -- a round-robin format in which each team plays the other seven once. Each match is one map and the results will determine Groups A and B for the group stage that begins on April 26 and runs to May 18.
Following the group stage and one week of cross-group battles, the top six teams will advance to the best-of-five, double-elimination playoffs on May 24-June 15. The total prize pool is $160,000, with $80,000 going to the winner and $40,000 to the runner-up. The winner also receives entry into the Mid-Season Invitational and the winner and runner-up qualify for the Esports World Cup.
The 100 Thieves kept Disguised winless, winning in 34 minutes on blue. Kim "River" Dong-woo of South Korea was voted MVP.
FlyQuest was the winner over Shopify Rebellion in 36 minutes on red. The MVP was Kacper "Inspired" Sloma of Poland.
Team Liquid handed LYON its first loss, in 32 minutes on blue. American Sean "Yeon" Sung was selected most valuable player.
