NTT IndyCar Series driver Josef Newgarden crosses the finish line winning the Music City Grand Prix at the Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tenn., Sunday, Aug. 31, 2025. The IndyCar series finished its 2025 season on a high note over the weekend.
Fox announced Wednesday that an average-audience size of 1,142,000 viewers tuned in for Sunday's Music City Grand Prix in Nashville to close out the network's first season broadcasting IndyCar races.
It marked the first time since June that an IndyCar race surpassed a million viewers, snapping an eight-race streak of six-digit viewership.
