Gaimin Gladiators reach PGL Wallachia grand final

Jordan Woodruff Gaimin Gladiators swept Team Liquid on Saturday to reach the grand final at the $1 million PGL Wallachia Season 5 event in Bucharest, Romania.
Liquid dropped into Sunday's lower-bracket final against BetBoom Team, with the winner advancing to face Gaimin Gladiators in Sunday's best-of-five title clash. At stake is a top prize of $300,000.
Sixteen teams began the Dota 2 competition on June 21, with the top eight advancing from the group stage to the double-elimination playoffs.
Gaimin Gladiators have won all six matches this week. They swept Liquid with a 44-minute victory on red and a 36-minute win on green.
BetBoom Team rallied to knock out Team Spirit in fourth place. Spirit opened with a 42-minute win on green, but BetBoom Team answered with 36- and 34-minute triumphs on red.
