Gen.G, AG.AL advance to Esports World Cup final
League of Legends at 2025 Esports World Cup Gen.G Esports and AG.AL will meet in the Sunday's best-of-five grand final at the Esports World Cup League of Legends event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The winning team will take home $600,000 and 1,000 EWC club points.
Gen.G beat G2 Esports 2-1 and AG.AL swept T1 in Saturday's semifinals. G2 and T1 will battle for third place on Sunday.
Gen.G sandwiched a 25-minute win on red and a 33-minute victory on blue around G2's 33-minute win on blue.
AG.AL thumped T1, winning in 28 minutes on blue and 33 minutes on red.
Twelve teams began the event, competing for a $2 million prize pool. The tournament is also part of the Club Championship that will award $7 million to the winning team at the end of the Cup.
