Gen.G Esports advance in Mid-Season Invitational bracket stage

Gen.G Esports swept Fnatic 3-0 on Wednesday to advance to the upper bracket semifinals in the bracket stage of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2024 in Chengdu, China.

Gen.G posted a 28-minute win on blue and a 44-minute victory on red before finishing Fnatic in 28 minutes on red.

Gen.G will face Top Esports in the best-of-five upper bracket semifinal on Saturday, while Fnatic dropped into the lower bracket.

The $250,000 tournament began on May 1 with 12 teams competing for a $50,000 grand prize and qualification into the 2024 World Championship. The play-in stage concluded Sunday, with the bracket stage opening Tuesday.
