Giannis Bullied The Blazers
Photo credit: Steve Dykes/ [object Object] Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is Shaq now, did not have his greatest game against the Blazers last night, scoring 20 points on 7-of-20 shooting in the Bucks’ 103-91 win. He also did some very rude things to some people.
Get owned, Al-Farouq Aminu and Ed Davis:
Have some more:
And then, because Giannis is Shaq but faster, he decided to do a rude thing to C.J. McCollum on the defensive end. Take note of how far in advance he begins to line up this block, and notice those super-elongated strides he uses to close the gap:
Giannis isn’t as Shaq-like as he was earlier in the season, when he was scoring 23.7 points per game on 75 precent shooting in the paint. He’s still scoring 18.5 points per game in the paint, though, and converting 72.5 percent of shots taken from 10 feet or closer to the basket. He’s at 29-10-4 for the season, to go along with 1.8 blocks and 1.7 steals per game. He’s also routinely humiliating people, which is a fun thing to watch.
