Gonzaga standout forward Braden Huff injured his left knee in practice and will miss four to eight weeks, the school announced Thursday night.

The news came shortly before No. 9 Gonzaga tipped off on the road against Washington State.

Huff, a junior in his first season as a full-time starter for the Bulldogs, has averaged a team-high 17.8 points and 5.6 rebounds over 18 games. Huff's 66.2% field goal accuracy leads the West Coast Conference and ranks sixth in Division I.

Without the lefthanded Huff, the Bulldogs (17-1, 5-0 WCC) will rely more on forward Graham Ike, who matches Huff's 17.8 points per game and also paces the team with 8.6 rebounds per game. Ike had a 34-point, 11-rebound outburst in Gonzaga's last game, an 89-77 win over Santa Clara.

If Huff requires eight weeks to return, that would line up with the end of the West Coast Conference tournament on March 5-10 in Las Vegas.
