Just down Allegheny Street sits the offices of Corbett Law. A public listing shows it to be for Patrick Corbett III, as opposed to Tom Corbett, who for a time oversaw the Sandusky investigation as the state's attorney general and who was elected governor in November 2010.

The view of the Centre County Courthouse from the bottom of High Street Monday evening. Satellite TV trucks were filling up Allegheny Street out front, while gawkers were gathering in small bunches on the sidewalks nearby. Someone in the annex adjacent to the courthouse laughed as she told us how ESPN delivered its on-the-scene report from outside the Dairy Queen across the street.

Mamma Lucrezi's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, just down Allegheny Street from the courthouse, isn't usually open for breakfast, but they're planning to open at 8 a.m. today. Among their breakfast items is this delight, which is fried balls of pizza dough rolled in powdered sugar and cinnamon and drizzled with lots of chocolate sauce and caramel. The restaurant calls the dessert Sweet Bites, but our server suggested an alternate name: "Sandusky balls."
