Help Mark Cuban Find His Boogie Shoes
This image was lost some time after publication. Mavs owner Mark Cuban, as pretty much everybody knows, is the only NBA owner with a blog. Recently, he has been disappointing us with thoughful, intelligent analysis of the NBA dress code, blog search engines and the response to Hurricane Katrina. We don't want that: We want the blatant fan-boy geekiness that we've come to know and love from the man-boy.
Thankfully, Cuban comes through today, speculating openly on what he should wear to the Mavericks' opener ("Its TNT and I have to come up with something good :)") and, mostly, asking "the blogosphere" what song the Mavs should play in the place of Gary Glitter's "Rock 'N Roll Part II" at the stadium.
I need at least one song that is simple, has few or no words, is short and will automatically cause 20k people to stand, clap and shout in unison.
May we suggest something by Bootsy Collins or Cowboy Joe West?
