Here Are The NBA All-Star Starting Lineups (Yep, Kobe Made It)
The NBA just announced the starters for the All Star Game. Looks like Kobe's in, and, uh, LeBron's playing center?
Here are the lineups:
East:
G Kyrie Irving
G Dwyane Wade
F Paul George
F LeBron James
F Carmelo Anthony
West:
G Kobe Bryant
G Stephen Curry
F Kevin Durant
F Blake Griffin
F Kevin Love
There aren't a ton of surprises here, since it was pretty obvious all along that Kobe was getting in, but even with the injury, Chris Paul not being on here is a little weird. And that East lineup is, uh, interesting. Melo can probably check Love, and LeBron, Blake, but still.
More notable is who's missing, obviously. A healthy Derrick Rose probably squeezes in there, and a full season of Russell Westbrook probably slides him past the absentee Kobe. At least there's Steph, who's somehow playing in his first ASG.
But starting lineups aren't the biggest deal anyway. The biggest deal is: Paul George Dunk Contest?
