Here's A Woefully Unnecessary Tribute Rap Video About Minor Minor-League Pitcher
With the 974th pick of the 2009 Major League Draft, the New York Mets drafted pitcher T.J. Chism of LaSalle University by way of Sun Valley High School in Aston, Pa. That season, Chism pitched in 10 games (starting seven) and compiled a 1-3 record with a 7.80 ERA with 34 Ks in 30 innings.
Hell, Chism was 4-0 for the Class A Short Season Kingsport Mets last year, which probably shortlists him for the starting rotation in the bigs by mid-June. Still, a tipster who went to high-school with both Chism and the "145 pound white boy [who] steals 50-cent beats" was right to send this tribute rap about Chism skillz if only because the "performer" apologizes, mid-ode, for the poor quality of his performance.
