Here's Video Of The Best Tennis Shot Of The Day
Just when you thought Croatian vs. Slovakian men's doubles tennis couldn't get any more electrifying, along comes this bit of artistry at the hands of Filip Polasek.
Polasek and partner Igor Zelenay knocked home-country boys Goran Ivanisevic and Marin Cilic out in the first round at Zagreb. Straight sets. Humiliation. Ivanisevic, who won Wimbledon in 2001 but retired three years later, said the match was a "once is enough" type jawn designed to draw attention to the Zagreb Indoors tournament.
"I did not serve well and Marin did not return well. If I served only 10 percent I think we would have won. Of all my shots I would never considered this one would be my worst today," Ivanisevic said at the press conference.
Goran weak. Filip strong.
