Hot-shooting Bucks earn season sweep of Pacers

Mandatory Credit: Benny Sieu-Imagn Images Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 31 and Bobby Portis added 29 off the bench to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 134-123 victory over the visiting Indiana Pacers on Sunday afternoon.
It was a near triple-double for Antetokounmpo with 14 rebounds and eight assists. Ryan Rollins added 20 points with seven dimes.
Aaron Nesmith led Indiana, who was without Pascal Siakam (knee) once again, with 32 points. Jay Huff added 16 while Jarace Walker scored 14 with eight rebounds and six assists.
The first half of this one primarily belonged to Nesmith. The guard got the Pacers off to a strong start, scoring 14 points in a first quarter that saw Indiana up 34-26 going into the second.
While Nesmith continued his dominance with 10 more points in the second, Milwaukee also found their stroke from deep. The Bucks knocked down 7-of-11 from 3-point range in the quarter and pulled with three, 65-62, going into halftime.
Antetokounmpo was not far behind Nesmith's 24 in the half with 18 of his own along with 11 rebounds. Bobby Portis also scored 13.
The 3-pointers would continue to fly for Milwaukee in the third. The Bucks shot 6 of 9 from deep in the quarter and got 13 more points from Antetokounmpo to take a six-point edge into the fourth.
The Bucks also come out in the fourth firing, rattling off a quick 9-2 run at the start of the frame and never looking back. Portis scored 13 of his points in the fourth.
Milwaukee tied a season-high with 23 3-pointers as a team. They also had just one more than their season-low with nine turnovers committed.
Milwaukee completed the season-series sweep over Indiana and took down the Pacers for the fifth straight time. Overall the Bucks have won seven of the last eight matchups.
