Hurricanes sign F Eric Robinson to 4-year, $6.8M extension

The Carolina Hurricanes signed forward Eric Robinson to a four-year, $6.8 million contract extension on Friday.
The deal runs through the 2028-29 season for Robinson.
Robinson, 30, set career highs with 14 goals and 18 assists and played all 82 games in his first season with the Hurricanes in 2024-25, adding one goal and two assists in 15 playoff contests.
"It's no surprise to us that Eric had his best professional season last year with Carolina," general manager Eric Tulsky said in a news release. "His size and speed make him an excellent fit for the way we want to play, and we are thrilled that he's chosen to remain a Hurricane."
Robinson has recorded 123 points (54 goals, 69 assists) in 388 games with the Columbus Blue Jackets (2018-23), Buffalo Sabres (2023-24) and Hurricanes.
