Nothing Says I Love New York Like Tattoos of Lou Gehrig and Patrick Ewing

I saw this dude on my subway ride to work today and asked if I could photograph the artwork on his arms. Every piece was about New York.

I asked him why Lou Gehrig and he said, "Why not?"

He's a Brit with deep love for New York. How else to explain a Patrick Ewing tattoo?

Shy kid, wasn't talkative, but was kind enough to let me admire his devotion to my home town. Cool way to start the day.
