Imavov beats Dolidze by majority decision at Fight Night

The scoring by the judges was curious; Imavov took one card 49-44 while another judge had the bout tied 47-47. The third card went to Imavov, 48-46.
Imavov landed 154 strikes compared to 59 for Dolidze in the five-round main event middleweight bout, including a disparity of 112 significant strikes to 34 for Dolidze.
Imavov was docked a point by referee Herb Dean for an illegal strike to Dolidze in the fourth round.
"Huge respect to Roman Dolidze," Imavov said in his postfight interview through an interpreter. "He kept fighting."
Imavov improved to 13-4, 1 NC. Dolidze fell to 12-3.
