A Taiwanese runner and two Chinese teammates fell ill in Iran, about halfway through the "Silk Road" ultramarathon, 6,000 miles from Turkey to China. The original suspect was food poisoning, but the real culprit turned out to be flunitrazepam, aka Rohypnol, aka the date rape drug.
