Isaiah Thomas Is Out For The Rest Of The Playoffs
Photo Credit: Tim Bradbury/ [object Object] Whatever scrap of hope the Celtics might have had for being able to resemble something competitive against the Cavaliers is probably gone: Isaiah Thomas is officially out for the remainder of the postseason.
Thomas sat out last night’s second half with a re-aggravated hip injury, which has officially been diagnosed as a right femoral-acetabular impingement with labral tear. He initially injured the hip in March.
Thomas led the team in points, assists and minutes this season. Games 3 and 4 are Sunday and Tuesday, respectively; mark your calendars for some old-fashioned competitive basketball.
