Trouba, who also had an assist, took a pass from Leo Carlsson while breaking down the right wing and then cut in front on the net and stuffed a backhand shot through the pads of Akira Schmid for the game-winner.
Carlsson scored two goals and had an assist to extend his point streak to nine games, Olen Zellweger had two assists and Frank Vatrano also scored for Anaheim. It was the first multi-goal game of the season for Carlsson.
Petr Mrazek made 36 saves for the first-place Ducks, who increased their Pacific Division lead to three points over the Seattle Kraken and the Golden Knights.

Vegas took a 1-0 lead at the 5:47 mark of the first period on Howden's wrist shot from the low slot off a pass from William Karlsson.
