The Grizzlies had trouble finding an offensive rhythm and fell behind by 10 early in the second quarter. They settled in, and Santi Aldama's 3-pointer tied the game with 4:20 left in the period. Bolstered by a late 9-0 run, Toronto led 59-53 at halftime.
After falling behind by eight to open the third quarter, the Grizzlies picked up the pace and moved to within one on Edey's layup off a rebound with 10:07 remaining. The visitors reeled off four straight points after that, taking advantage of two Toronto misses.

Pippen nailed a corner 3-pointer with 1:17 left, and Memphis led 96-84 after three quarters.
