Jay Cutler Is Joining The Miami Dolphins After All
Photo: Jonathan Daniel/ [object Object] A day after it was reported that Jay Cutler was leaning away from joining the Miami Dolphins, Cutler has now reportedly agreed to a one-year, $10 million contract to join the organization and replace injured starter Ryan Tannehill.
The end of JayWatch came quickly, first with an update this morning from Ian Rapoport that the direction of Cutler’s lean had changed overnight, and now its conclusion. Apparently Miami head coach Adam Gase is a persuasive fellow!
Cutler worked with Gase for a season with the Bears, where Gase was offensive coordinator in 2015. The deal puts the kibosh on Cutler’s move into broadcasting with Fox Sports, where he was expected to debut during the Bears-Titans preseason game scheduled for August 27.
