Jimmy Garoppolo Hurt His Shoulder [Update]

The Jimmy Garoppolo era in New England has been suspended after the Patriots quarterback suffered a shoulder injury in today’s game.

Garoppolo was slow to get up after a hit from Miami Dolphins linebacker Kiko Alonso:

Garoppolo had thrown for 234 yards and three touchdowns in the first half against Miami.

The team announced that Garoppolo is questionable to return. Rookie QB Jacoby Brissett will take his place and attempt to threaten Tom Brady’s job security.
