Jrue Holiday Made Two Shots Last Night. Here's A Video Of The Other 22 He Missed.
The 76ers went into last night's game at the Bobcats with a three-game winning streak. Mathematically, Philly is still in contention for a play—hahahaha, let's cut the crap. The Sixers lost, and Jrue Holiday might still be missing shots somewhere, even now.
Here's a reason to pay attention to the Sixers for something other than Andrew Bynum's hair or Andrew Bynum's knees: Jrue Holiday went 2-for-24 from the field. That's as many missed shots as all five of the Sixers' starters had made ones. That's more misses than LeBron James has had in his last four games combined. And no player in at least 28 years has taken at least 24 shots and made two or fewer. Holiday said after the game that "a lot of shots went in and out." As you can see in the video above, a lot just didn't come close.
