Keyd Stars get another shot at FlyQuest for Championship of the Americas

Keyd Stars won the lower-bracket final on Saturday to earn a rematch with FlyQuest in the grand final on Sunday of the League of Legends Championship of The Americas in Allen, Texas.

FlyQuest had swept Keyd Stars 3-0 on Sept. 20 in the upper-bracket final and advanced to the best-of-five grand final.

On Saturday, Keyd Stars eliminated 100 Thieves 3-1, winning the first two games in 30 minutes on red and 33 minutes on blue, losing in 31 minutes with 100 Thieves on blue, and closing out the match in 37 minutes on blue.

Brazil's Pedro "Disamis" Goncalves led Keyd Stars with a 12-12-43 kill-death-assist ratio, while teammate Adrian "Trymbi" Trybus of Poland posted an 11-15-45 K-D-A ratio.

The season finale for Championship of the Americas (LTA) is a double-elimination tournament featuring the top teams from the North and South leagues based on previous tournaments. All matches are best-of-five with the top three teams qualifying for the world championship in China.
