Kornheiser Just Missed MNF Spot
This image was lost some time after publication. Buried deep within another "Why Joe Theismann?" story in The Baltimore Sun is this tidbit: ESPN was considering hiring "Pardon the Interruption" host Tony Kornheiser to be the Monday Night Football color man. Kornheiser admitted being interviewed for the job five years ago, when they hired Dennis Miller instead. Kornheiser will instead have to collect more "Listen Up" royalties.
By the way, while searching around, we found this old site: The Tony Kornheiser Fan Page. We couldn't help but noticed they stopped updating when he joined ESPN.
