Lamar Jackson (hamstring) remains sidelined as Ravens prepare for Rams
Sep 28, 2025; Kansas City, Missouri, USA; Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (8) leaves the field after a game against the Kansas City Chiefs at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Mandatory Credit: Jay Biggerstaff-Imagn Images Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson (hamstring) missed his fifth consecutive practice day as the banged-up Ravens prepare to host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.
The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player suffered the injury in the third quarter of the 37-20 loss at Kansas City in Week 4 and has not practiced since that game. He did not dress for the team's 44-10 home drubbing at the hands of the Houston Texas this past Sunday as the Ravens fell to 1-4.
Cooper Rush, who was signed in the off-season, got the start vs. Houston and threw three interceptions on 14-of-20 passing for 179 yards. Tyler Huntley, the former Raven who was elevated from the practice squad last week, is currently Rush's understudy.
Since Jackson took over the starting role in 2019, the Ravens are 4-10 when the three-time first-team All-Pro and four-time Pro Bowl selection does not start.
The Ravens have gotten four All-Pro players back to practice in the last two days. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle) and safety Kyle Hamilton (groin) returned on Wednesday, while cornerback Marlon Humphrey (calf) and fullback Pat Ricard (calf) were on the practice field on Thursday. Ricard had not practiced since Aug. 14.
Linebacker Roquan Smith (hamstring) was among four players, including Jackson, not practicing.
