Last Rites For the Cubs and Phillies
If the Phillies and Cubs were planning on winning some games this post season they'd be wise to get things started tonight. Chicago is already underway with Arizona and things are going just as expected, 1-0 Diamondbacks after a third of an inning. The Wrigley faithful were silenced immediately courtesy of Chris Young's lead off homer off of Rich Hill. Stephen Drew (the brother that isn't a total bum) compounded their concerns when he followed with double deep into the right field gap. Hill managed to regain his composure and subsequently struck out two consecutive batters.
That's about as much of a liveblog as you're going to get from me. The late game is scheduled to get underway at about 9:30 but I certainly won't be around for that. Feel free to hang out in the comments and talk about the game amongst yourselves, however this is not the final post of the evening for all you DUANers.
