LeBron James Is Glad To Be In Draymond Green's Head
Draymond Green and LeBron James had a bit of a back-and-forth yesterday, and the good-natured ribbing ended with Green taking a shot at James during his speech at the Warriors’ victory parade, much to James’s delight.
After Game 5 of the Finals, James told reporters that he doesn’t feel like he’s been a part of a “superteam” during his NBA career. Most people raised an eyebrow at this, and Green called the comments out at yesterday’s parade:
Later in the day, James was a guest on a podcast hosted by sideline reporter Allie Clifton and teammates Channing Frye and Richard Jefferson. When asked about Green’s comments, he had this to say ( via ESPN):
“But I don’t look at it as ... I definitely didn’t start the superteam, if that’s what he’s trying to say. But I just feel like that it’s great that on the day you’re celebrating your championship, my likeness and my name is in your head. I love that.”
Got him.
