LeBron Plays Professional Basketball ... On Television!
If there was ever a night to own a wall of TVs that can each show their own channel....well, most nights are good for that, but it would be particularly helpful this evening. Let's the set the table:
The sports themselves aren't really a problem. The lone NBA and NHL playoff games are staggered by 90 minutes, so you mostly get a break there. (Celtics-Cavs at 8 ET Canucks-Blackhawks at 9:30.) But if you like other forms of televised entertainment during timeouts, you're in a spot of trouble.
Ice Cube's 30 for 30 documentary about all those annoying people in your high school who wore nothing but Raiders hats is at 8:00. As is American Idol (if you're into that sort of thing) and the Erin Andrews Sexy-Time Dance Cavalcade. (I know you're into that.) At 9:00 p.m., it's pick your nerd poison with Lost vs. Glee (don't act like you don't care about at least one of those) unless you're visiting elderly relatives, in which case, I hope you like NCIS. You're DVR can't possibly record all of that, can it?
Oh, and don't forget ... you have to watch all that stuff and read this site, whilesimultaneously leaving useful comments into the wee hours. That's a lot of pressure on you that I don't envy. So consider this an open thread for anything you see on the picture box, but don't get too comfortable in that comfy chair.
P.S. Justified is pretty good too. I recommend it.
