Let’s Revisit Richard Sherman’s Best And Loudest Moments With The Seahawks
credits: Elsa | source: [object Object] The Seahawks released cornerback Richard Sherman today after seven seasons with the team, ending an amazing run in Seattle for one of the most iconic defensive players of all time. Sherman was a three-time first-team All-Pro selection with the Seahawks, and he was a key part of the defense that utterly destroyed Peyton Manning in the 2014 Super Bowl.
This is a pretty clear end for the “Legion of Boom” era of the Seahawks, but despite an Achilles injury that ended his 2017 season early, Sherman undoubtedly will sign with another team soon. One of the most-rumored destinations is the Patriots, which would be weird as hell.
While we wait to find out where his new home will be, here’s a classic photo of Sherman trash talking Tom Brady after an October 2014 Seahawks win over New England:

And Sherman’s most important play to date—the swat on a Michael Crabtree-intended pass at the end of the NFC Championship Game:
And, of course, the greatest post-game interview in NFL history, which came right after the swat.
Don’t let Bill Belichick change you.
