LIV Golf to present Esports Awards Open in Las Vegas

The global golf league will host the Esports Awards Open, an 18-hole scramble taking place Wednesday at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort.
"I'm delighted to welcome LIV Golf into the Esports Awards family. Together, we'll bridge the gap between sports stars, celebrities, and gaming professionals to bring unforgettable experiences to Las Vegas," Esports Awards CEO Michael Ashford said in a news release. "The Esports Awards Open is a tradition we absolutely adore, it sets out to bring all types of members of the industry, and those interested in the industry, together for a day of fun-filled golfing."
This is the third year for the golf competition, with previous participants including 2020 U.S. Open champion and Crushers GC captain Bryson DeChambeau, Call of Duty star Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag of 100 Thieves and other gamers, influencers and sports stars.
Other partners for the 2023 Esports Awards include Lexus, Oakley and Xfinity.
