Brown is dealing with a lower back injury, the Cardinals revealed.
Brown ranks second on the team averaging 16.6 points per game and leads the team with 5.1 assists per game. He participated in pregame warm-ups but was a late scratch. This is the first game he's missed for Louisville (9-1).
Sophomore guard Adrian Wooley started in Brown's place.
