Lucky Psychopath Wins $50,000 On Tom Brady's Safety
Benjamin Lyons is either crazy, rich or both. According to his Twitter bio, he is a law student—so let's go with crazy. According to Business Insider he threw down $1000 on a prop bet, at 50/1 odds, wagering that the Giants would score the first points of the Super Bowl on a safety. I don't know what your bank account looks like, but $1,000 is about $975 more than I would put down on a silly prop bet.
Always the hero, even in defeat, Tom Brady came through in the clutch and Benjamin is now a year's tuition richer for it.
Update (10:45 a.m.): Benjamin tells us it was his friend who won the bet.
