Per the Magic, the procedure also involved a mosaicplasty to repair the trochlear joint surface. He is expected to make a full recovery.
Suggs hasn't played since suffering what was initially reported as a left quad contusion during Orlando's 121-113 win over the Detroit Pistons on Jan. 25.
Signed in October to a five-year, $150.5 million extension, Suggs has averaged a career-high 16.2 points and 4.0 rebounds along with 3.7 assists in 35 games (all starts) this season.
Suggs, 23, has averaged 12.3 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists in 211 games (174 starts) since being selected by the Magic with the fifth overall pick of the 2021 NBA Draft out of Gonzaga.
