Man In Wheelchair Claims Eagles Fan Stole His Prosthetic Leg At Game [UPDATE]
This is a new one. Sonny Forriest, Jr., an Eagles fan in a wheelchair who sings outside Lincoln Financial Field, says a woman wearing Eagles apparel stole his prosthetic leg Sunday night.
Forriest said the woman initially bumped into him and broke his microphone. From WPVI:
"She said, 'I will pay you for it.' I said, 'That's alright baby go ahead and have a good time,' and then she disappeared," said Forriest.
Forriest says the woman appeared to be in her 20s. At this point he would like to have his leg back since he's not able to get around without it.
After that, she ran off, and Forriest soon realized that the prosthetic leg on the back of his wheelchair was gone. So, if you're around Philly and see a woman in Eagles gear holding a prosthetic leg, let the police know.
Update (1:27 a.m.): NBC 10 is reporting that police found the leg at a train station in Olney. The woman who took it wasn't caught.
