Marc Gasol Unveils The "Spanish McGregor Walk"
The Memphis Grizzlies got themselves an impressive win on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers last night. The Grizz were down 107-106 with 23 seconds to play when Marc Gasol stepped up to hit a game-winning three from the corner.
And then, to the delight of everyone watching, Gasol celebrated his shot by doing a doofy strut known as the McGregor Walk, made famous by UFC star Conor McGregor. Grizzlies point guard Mike Conley dubbed Gasol’s version the “Spanish McGregor Walk” during a postgame interview, and Gasol later confirmed the homage:
I am in full support of big fellas doing whatever they hell they want after hitting a clutch three. Strut on, Marc, you big beautiful diamond.
