Facing the uncertain future of LIV Golf, Michael La Sasso and four other players from the financially struggling circuit are looking to qualify for the DP World Tour.

La Sasso, 22, who won the season-ending LIV Golf Indianapolis title last month, will compete in that tour's Qualifying School along with fellow American Peter Uihlein, Spain's Josele Ballester and Luis Masaveu, and Japan's Yosuke Asaji.

La Sasso and Asaji will participate from Sept. 8-11 at Seddiner See Golf and Country Club in Michendorf, Germany, one of 10 first-stage sites for Q School.

Uihlein, Ballester and Masaveu are entered in the qualifier at Huddersfield Golf Club in Huddersfield, England, which starts Wednesday and runs through Saturday.

La Sasso, who left Ole Miss midway through his senior year in January 2026 to sign with Phil Mickelson's HyFlyers GC, had not finished higher than T12 in the LIV season's first 11 tournaments before winning in Indianapolis.

Since losing the financial support of Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, LIV Golf has been searching for funding to launch a slimmed-down version dubbed "LIV 2.0" in 2027. The Financial Times reported Monday that the league may soon file for bankruptcy protection.
