Mike Leach's Opinion On Candy Corn: Just As Awful As Fruitcake And Mint Juleps
Via [object Object] The traditional season for candy corn is coming to a close, but before it does, Washington State head coach Mike Leach is here to offer his thoughts: it’s bad. This is why it’s only served once a year, much like fruitcake or mint juleps, which are similarly terrible in Leach’s mind:
“I think it’s just awful. Candy corn’s awful. It’s like fruitcake, you know, there’s a reason they only serve fruitcake once a year: because it’s awful. There’s a reason they only serve mint juleps once a year: because they’re awful. And there’s a reason they only serve candy corn once a year: because it’s awful. Now, that does beg the question of why they serve it all, but, anyway.”
It would seem that Leach has not been exposed to the special Christmas candy corn or Valentine’s Day candy corn; maybe it’s better this way.
