It was a long climb back for the Hornets, who trailed by 17 points in the first quarter.
Scottie Barnes poured in 30 points for the Raptors, while teammates Brandon Ingram and Immanuel Quickley both scored 22 points. Sandro Mamukelashvili added 13 points off the bench.

Charlotte sank 26 of 29 free-throw attempts, scoring the Raptors by a dozen points on foul shots.
The Raptors went more than five minutes without scoring down the stretch in regulation as the Hornets wiped out a 12-point deficit before Quickley's jumper snapped the slide with 42 seconds to play.
Bridges made one of two free throws before Barnes sank two foul shots at the 12.6-second mark for a 104-101 edge. Knueppel's 3-pointer tied it before Ingram missed a potential winning jumper at the end of regulation. Knueppel finished with four 3s.
The Hornets scored 12 straight points -- with five from Bridges -- to pull even at 100-100 on Sion James' drive with 1:02 remaining.
The Raptors got off to a strong start and a 26-9 lead with Ingram racking up 10 points, though the margin was down to 34-21 by the end of the first quarter.
Barnes had 12 rebounds as part of Toronto's 52-39 advantage on the boards. Quickley finished with a game-high 10 assists.
