Milwaukee Beats Golden State; Warriors' Record Season-Starting Win Streak Snapped At 24
Finally, someone has beaten the Golden State Warriors this 2015-26 season—and it’s the Milwaukee Bucks, whose 108-95 win lets us go back to pretending the NBA doesn’t exist for another two weeks.
What was the key to finally beating the reigning champs after a total of 28 straight wins dating back to last season’s Finals? Playing them 24 hours after a double-OT game one thousand miles away helped. It’s also the end of a week-long road trip for the Warriors, who shot a putrid 6 of 26 from three-point range; a triple-double from Giannis Antetokounmpo just served to help put the Bucks over the top.
